Yes. The check and the detailed report cost nothing and don’t commit you to anything.
What exactly gets checked?
The homepage: loading time on smartphone and desktop with Google PageSpeed Insights, findability on Google, whether AI search may read the page and finds enough text (robots.txt, content, questions), the automatically testable part of accessibility, encryption and links to the legal notice and privacy policy.
How accurate is the result?
The measurements come from Google and vary slightly from check to check, for example depending on the load on your server. Automated tests only find some of the problems, especially with accessibility.
What happens to my data?
Your website’s address is sent to Google PageSpeed Insights for the measurement. I only use your name and email address for the report and, if you agree, to follow up. Details are in the privacy policy.
Does the check replace a review under the BFSG?
No. Whether the Accessibility Strengthening Act applies to your website and whether it meets all requirements can’t be assessed automatically. But the check shows where there are obvious barriers.
